Introductory Post
About Me-
I'm a second year student studying Games Art at Nottingham Trent university practicing digital art, traditional methods and 3D Modelling.
I chose to study Games Art due to finding a large amount of interest and enjoyment in the subject matter, and have a storng interest in improving my abilities as such. I often worldbuild, write and draw and find that these interest merge well with the process of creating material for a brief. I enjoy designing and the elements of research that surround it, especially when material designed is intrinsically fantastical in nature and requires research and justification.
In my free time I often work on role-playing games: writing or drawing to facilitate the worldbuilding, lore and mechanics of such game systems and then sharing what I have created with my online gaming group. This is what the majority of my free time is spent working towards, and in the future I may seek to publish more of this work. I have self-published several zines for the tabletop roleplaying game 'Best Left Buried' on Itch.io that function under a pay-what-you-want system and have a great many more ideas, adventures and settings sitting in documents and folders on my hard drive. Writing and illustrating for these zines is definitely what I enjoy the most.
Media I have drawn inspiration from-
-Best Left Buried (Tabletop Roleplaying Game)
-Coriolis: The Third Horizon (Tabletop Roleplaying Game)
-Vaults of Vaarn (Tabletop Roleplaying Game)
-Outer Wilds (Digital Game)
-Outer Wilds (Digital Game)
-Caves of Qud (Digital Game)
-Dune (Film/Book)
-Emesis Blue (Film)
-Hyperion Cantos book series (Books)
